Spanish lessons for groups London

In order to ensure that the courses are really effective it is indispensable that the work groups are composed of students with a similar level of previous knowledge of Spanish. For this reason, students will be given a test on the first day of the course by means which level is suitable for each one.

Ideal for those groups of co-workers or university groups of students who are looking for a specific course suitable for their needs.

All of our Spanish courses in London are scheduled year-round. Courses can last a minimum of one week or as long as six months –however short or long it may be– the class size is guaranteed to be limited up to six students.

The lessons combine different pedagogical techniques, centred on a communicative approach, in order to reach every kind of learner. Our goal is to equip you with the skills and concepts necessary to feel comfortable understanding others and making yourself understood in any Spanish-speaking environment. In order to achieve this goal, the teacher combines both theory and practice, addressing all of the linguistic and pragmatic aspects of the spoken language.

For those who don’t want to practice any written exercise and have a level of Spanish intermediate-advanced, we offer the “Conversation Club”, focused on discussions about art, culture, news, etc.

LOCATION AND FEES:

All our Spanish courses are based in London and normally the group lessons are held in different areas of the town such as Islington, Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, City of London, Lambeth, Southwark and Hackney.

3 people £16 per hour and student

4-6 People £15 per hour and student

LEVEL, METHOD AND CONTENT

All lessons are focused on practical communication, so oral skills are our main aim. At the same time, a grammatical base is essential - we introduce grammar through practice in class.
We have a classical approach to teaching Spanish, enriched with up-to-date reading material, interactive communication lessons and games.
All courses comprise written and oral exercises, vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension as well as conversation. Games and creative exercises are fun and lend a relaxing, enriching element to the lessons.

BEGINERS: Through greetings, talking about yourself and giving an opinion, amongst other things, you will learn how to form fundamental grammatical and communicative structures in Spanish…
Contents: Elementary vocabulary and grammar introduces easy chats, typical situations in ordinary life, exercises and conversation.

INTERMEDIATE: You will increase your vocabulary and knowledge of grammar and be able to express yourself in various contexts. With a greater understanding of language and idiom you will start to communicate much more effectively.
Contents: Conversation, grammar, exercises, easy readings, short articles from the press, expressions and discussions.

ADVANCED: You will increase your ability to debate and express opinion in detail, to link phrases and sentences coherently and to talk about more specific topics outside the area of commonplace conversation.
Contents: Conversation, grammar, exercises, literature and press articles: extension of vocabulary and expressions taking into account daily private and professional life.

PROFICIENCY: This is for students who already have a solid understanding of the Spanish language and can communicate effectively. You will learn to express your ideas at a more abstract level, focusing on refining your oral and written skills.
Contents: Participants with a good knowledge of the language. Reading texts from literature, art and history and more complex press articles, consolidation of vocabulary and a variety of linguistic topics.
